Seabreeze oyster farming company is situated on the beautiful bay of Donegal in the North West of Ireland. Seabreeze is one of the leading Irish oyster farms and has been recognised many times by the BIM/Guinness oyster awards. Our oysters are of excellent quality and particular attention is paid to the meat content and shape of each oyster. These characteristics are obtained by turning the bags regularly and finishing the growth of the oysters on the upper shore. The unique quality of Donegal Bay waters produce a very specific nutty taste, much appreciated by connoisseurs . The proximity of the handling centre and the farming site facilitates grading work and allows for rapid dispatch.
Seabreeze was established in the early 80's by 2 directors, Desmond Moore and William Britton. Seabreeze produces 3-400 tonnes of gigas oysters per year. They sell to a small selection of French wholesalers who supply high-end markets.
